United States

The United States is the world’s fourth-largest country in size and third-largest in terms of population, It is home to 333 million people and is located in the North American continent, the country is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean and the east by the Atlantic Ocean, along the northern border with Canada and the southern border with Mexico. There are 50 states and the District of Columbia, also known as Washington D. C, which is not part of any state and serves as the Seat of the Government of the Country.

Native American people lived here for 30.000 years ago, in the 15th century settlers started to move from Europe to the New World. St. Augustine, founded in 1565, was the first established settlement in Florida by Spain. Throughout its history, the United States has been a nation of immigrants, the population is very diverse with people from all over the world.
